Her curse is to be intelligent enough
To realise how dumb she is
A little drip and then just silence
She sits down as long as allowed
The gears send sparks on the walls
People with no life sometimes have the time
It's common knowledge there is nothing inside

So, why would she ever go there?
It seem more than just rough
Only few would like to descend the dark steps
To look dumb once they come back up
But when you accidently overhear
That's when it's kind of starting to make sense
In dark and unexpected places
That's where the light sometimes slips in

Everything is constantly moving
But she couldn't tell if it weren't for the weak background noise...

Good ol' fashioned fanatics are hiding downstairs
She sneaks up to the keyhole just to see if it goes somewhere
They are chanting all their mantras, but in a moment they'll stop the sound
And then she will be nowhere to be found

The tunnel leads to a trench, 'till it goes underground again
The tracks lay clear in the sun, they've taken everything with them
The fanatics has left for good but still the sound goes on
In her head as she keeps walking towards the sun
